"We loved this place and would stay here again when we travel back to Kyoto. The place was super clean and quiet. It felt so safe and train stations were in walking distance. We even found an awesome Korean restaurant right around the corner from the place. Also the Lawson store was just a minute away from here and open 24 hours. The staffing were also extra helpful and super sweet. "

"My son and I traveled from Portland Oregon to celebrate his graduation from high school. This was our favorite place we’ve stayed in our short 8 day whirl wind trip.
So Kyoto feels more like an Air B&B than a hotel, which we love! It felt like home. Thank you So Kyoto I hope to come back and stay again! "

"Stayed here last year and definitely recommend, the staff are at the level of a $1000 a night hotel and the breakfast is the best deal I've ever had at a hotel"

"We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel is walking distance from the train station which is convenient. You are able to rent a bike for free! So much fun. Great amenities. Staff are so kind, nice and very helpful. They also speak English. There is Lawson next to the hotel so you can easily walk over there to buy snacks and drinks. We enjoyed it and highly recommend it! "One of the best things about staying at this hotel is the breakfast buffet, which is prepared with the Kyoto spirit and lots of love and care. They have a weekly menu, meaning they change what they serve every day. A variety of flavorful selections of Japanese/Kyoto cuisine fill not just your stomach but your heart. The front desk staff were also welcoming and hospitable. The room was not huge but clean, and their comfortably firm mattress guarantees a good night's sleep. I already booked this hotel for my next trip to Kyoto that's happening in a couple of weeks. Oh yes, the super easy access to Kyoto Station is a huge plus, and you'll find an abundance of charming restaurants in the neighborhood. In short, I fell in love with Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kyoto Hachijoguchi."
"The staff welcomed us the minute we stepped into the lobby. Rather than standing at the reception desk, they sit with you at a table and you check-in. The onsen is nice and clean, our room was a good size, and the room amenities are replenished daily. I would stay here again. "
"This hotel is the perfect location with convenient access to transportation. The staff was great.
The property is a bit old and the beds are not as comfortable as I am accustomed to. However, based on location and price, I would still pick this property for future travel."
"Great onsen onsite and a traditional tatami experience. Guests are required to take your shoes off when you arrive at the hotel which adds to the hominess of the stay"
"If you have staid in an Apa before you probably know what you are in for, but overall solid value! Big bed, clean and compact. Bathroom is modular a bit small by western standards but still very usable and clean! No complaints here!"
"This is the second hotel of my stay in Japan, staff was friendly, able to accommodate with my request. Location is convenient, walking distance from the Kyoto station, and clean room"
"My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Twin Hotel Kyoto Hachijoguchi. The location is just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and roomy. The onsen was a delightful experience. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one evening, and it was excellent with reasonable prices. I highly recommend staying here while traveling!"
