Loved the hotel. Modern, but had a Japanese flare. Close to train station and restaurants. Taxis at train station take you anywhere. Yes, splurge for the breakfast buffet. It was really good.

Centrally located and convenient to Kyoto Station. You can walk to many restaurants and shops. Ambience was serene, room was very tidy and comfortable. Included Japanese breakfast was plentiful and high quality.

Mitsui Garden Hotel is centrally located which is an easy commute to places we visited. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The place is quiet and safe. Our late checked out was accomodated. It was a very pleasant stay.
