Dormy Inn is conveniently close to the Kyoto train & bus station with several interesting shrines, temples & parks close by. The hotel is clean, quiet & comfortable with very helpful staff. A large, traditional Japanese breakfast is available, and there are breakfast restaurants close by. Very nice & clean onsen + free laundry facilities. Recommend.

I really loved staying at this hotel. The staff were very lovely. The onsen and sauna were excellent. They had several ‘extras’ which made me feel like they were going out of their way to ensure guests had a pleasant stay. There was a freezer of free ice cream and popsicles after the onsen. In the evening they served free ramen for guests. They had an all you can drink + snacks deal from 5:00-8:00. And they had the most comfy pjs. Honestly, once I checked in I felt no need to leave the hotel until I checked out - it was that comfortable. I look forward to being able to stay here again in the future.

The hotel is in a great and convenient location and is really close to Kyoto Station. The layout of the room is really good and makes it spacious enough for a solo traveler. The amenities are great. The staff are helpful and courteous. I would recommend to get breakfast with your booking as it is really good and lots of options. They also offer ramen at night if you are feeling hungry.

Clean should be done every 3 days. The breakfast is excellent, delicious, and offers a variety of options, fresh and new. The onsen is convenient, very good, and it's conveniently located near the JR subway bus station. I left my luggage before and after check-in with a willingness. I arrived before check-in time, and I delivered my luggage to my room before check-in. It's convenient with a microwave, hot and cold water.

I will recommend this place over and over again and I can’t say enough positive things about this place. It’s about a 7-10 min walk to the Kyoto train station, the bus stop is nearby along with shops, restaurants and so much more. I only stayed here two nights. They had free washing machines but you have to pay for drying, the onsen was clean and they have free ice cream/popsicles in the afternoon/evening along with complimentary ramen that was actually really good. The staff’s English was a little more limited than other places but they are super nice and helpful. I was able to do luggage forwarding to Osaka and they were very helpful with that. I’m not sure if I have anything negative to say about this place.
