Easy access from Kyoto Station and also to all the nearby attractions. Very walkable to food and shopping. If you need, there is self-service luggage storage. Very great place to stay and the suite is spacious as well!

This was a great apartment for a family for 4 nights. Loved the location easy 10-15 min walk to shopping area and close to a train station. Loved that it had cooking facilities, a washing machine and the bathroom wet area became a dryer to dry clothes overnight, which worked better than a dryer. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed in two rooms for 6 nights, the rooms are clean and quite large compare to other Japanese hotels. It’s walking distance to the most popular shopping place in Kyoto (15 minutes walk). I would certainly recommend this hotel to others!

Very convenient. Washing machine was great (being Canadian, needed to learn how to hang dry but that was easy once we deciphered the instructions). Responsive staff. Easy check in and check out. Close to lots of shopping, tourist and eating spots. Would recommend.

Excellent apartment for 4. Good size kitchen and washing machine provided. Very good aircon. Only real issue was the ease of drying washing, one drying frame was provided but no way of hanging out on the balcony so had to rely on the ‘drying room’ option which must have used a ton of electricity every time, and also didn’t dry perfectly leaving some clothes smelly and in need of re-washing. Beds comfy, plenty of crockery and cutlery and a good size fridge. Good location within easy reach of main shopping areas and temples etc.

The hotel is very well located, close to all of Kyoto’s attractions (whether you get to them via taxi or public transportation), convenience stores, a drug store and even a Kimono rental place. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly (some of them speak some English some of them none). My family stayed in a room with two double beds and a sofabed, kitchenette and even a washing machine. The room was spacious enough for the five of us, although we had to eat breakfast on our beds, as there was no space for the dining table. What my family found it terrible with this place were the beds. They were sooooo hard. We had a terrible first night. The staff provided additional duvets for the other four nights. They helped, but not enough for any of us to have a decent night.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The rooms were comfy. from the pictures, the rooms looked big, but the deluxe twin room were actually quite small. There were communication issues at the front desk. Everything in the room were in Japanese, so we had to use the house rules booklet to use the AC, TV and appliances. I wish they had channels in english as all channels were in Japanese. The kitchen, utensils, bathroom were really nice. One can wash and dry the clothes during night. The best part is is that hotel is nearby to everything you woukd need, groceries, sightseeing, shopping areas etc. Overall , for the price, the hotel is excellent!!

True Japanese local experience

Hotel is located on a quieter somewhat residential neighborhood with little shops tucked here and there. We travelled with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Plus: Felt like you got a local experience. Hotel was clean and modern. Good space with washer and detergent provided (you need to hang clothes in bathroom and dry them in there via the fan dryer - they provide hangers for the clothes), large closet to store your stuff. No drawer space. Kitchen area with fridge, microwave, hot water boiler, utensils, stove. AC worked well. Water pressure great. Keypad entry. They received our luggages when we shipped them from Tokyo. Walking distance to Nishiki Market and tons of places to eat/shop. Downsides: Closest subway station is about 4-6 blocks buses are closer. Not terrible but we went in the summer so it was hot. Beds were extremely hard and firm. All 4 of us found them hard to sleep on. The hotel isn’t super secure as you can just walk in and take the elevator up to any floor. The neighborhood feels safe but being paranoid that was something I noticed. Other: They can’t ship your luggage from this hotel but there is a Yamato transport place 2 blocks away that you can ship your luggages from. Staff is friendly and they had small amenities downstairs (comb, cotton, razor.)
