The style of the room was so cute and comfortable. I appreciated that the hotel tried to conserve water by not changing the sheets everyday. You could ask if you wanted the sheets changed, but I didn’t bother over my four night stay. The location was also an easy walk to the subway and not too far from Kyoto station.

Lovely hotel in the main downtown area of Kyoto. Walkable to so many dining and sightseeing options. Great accommodations at a great price. I would absolutely stay here again. All toiletries were provided and they were of nice quality.

Everything was great…except the laundry facilities. There were only two machines. The make matters worse, they are the combo units that wash and dry, and it takes numerous additional cycles (3) to dry your clothes. If you don’t plan on doing your laundry, this is a great hub for Kyoto.

The property was lovely with a spacious room (by Japanese standards). The onsen was great and topped off by having the vending machines in the lobby for a quick drink or dessert :)

Hotel was clean and accessible, we could walk to Nishiki market in 10-15 minutes. It was also close to Kyoto station and there was a bus you could take near the hotel that reached many popular destinations. As we had a lot of luggage, we asked for the hotel’s help to book a taxi. On a rainy day, the hotel manager very kindly put on his rain coat and went out to flag down a taxi for us. Other than that, we also noticed he was helping out during check in time with wiping the luggages that got wet due to the rain and replenishing the lobby umbrellas. We were very thankful for his help.
