We liked the hotel, ubicación . We got clean towel every day without cleaning the room . Specially the young boy Majo Harada was amazing person on the counter service . He speaks four languages.

Most Japanese hotel rooms are tiny and have a weird step-up threshold to the bathroom which can be disorienting to those with balance and nausea issues, and this hotel has the highest step-up threshold of them all. For Canadians, it’s like stepping into an ice hut to use the washroom. Basically, all Japanese travel hotels are weird and this one was as weird as it gets.

Very convenient. Short walk to Kyoto Station. Family Mart convenience store less than one block down. Ogawa Coffee on the way from hotel to Kyoto Station. Clean hotel as with Japanese standards. Excellent stay overall.

Excellent customer service, room is just big enough, location is a five minute walk to all the trains and buses. Laundry machine already has soap, learned that after I already bought detergent. I asked about assistance with packages, but the person helping me wasn’t able to communicate well. You have to complete electronic paperwork at the Post office so it was moot anyways. They held my bags for check in time and delivered it to my room, thought that was great.

the staff at this hotel were polite and professional. The hotel was in good condition. It is about one block away from kyoto train station, making it convenient to take the train, metro, or bus to any location you want to go.

The staff were very helpful, in particular, they assisted us to send our bags by Takyuubin to Tokyo which made our journey much easier. The cleaning lady on our floor (floor 8) was lovely and made sure to greet us every time she saw us.

The staff in this hotel was helpful and friendly during my stay. In particular, I really appreciate the female staff who was on overnight duty from 23 May night to 24 May morning. I did not feel well and vomited in my hotel room. The staff helped me to clean up and sent me her regards again when I checked out on 24 May morning. The great hospitality demonstrated by the hotel staff was really impressive. Apart from the staff, the hotel room was clean and comfortable. The location was also convenient. I would recommend this hotel.

Nearby to Kyoto Station making it super convenient. The rooms we had were small but for the price I didn’t mind. Water pressure at hotel was great. Laundry facility was nice to have and the machines automatically dispense soap which was a nice surprise! I would stay here again and recommend you give them a try!

The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Kyoto Station, making it really convenient to get to other parts of the city or onto the Shinkansen to visit other cities in the area. I really loved the convenience of the location as a central transit hub, as I was using Kyoto as my "home base" while making visits to Kobe, Osaka, Nara, and Uji. As with most areas in Japan, the neighbourhood around the hotel felt very safe. The staff were helpful in the check-in process, though I still found it a little bit confusing using the "self check-in" machine. That could also have been due to the fatigue in travelling though! The room was a comfortable size and everything was very clean. It was complete with all the usual amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, safe, etc.). Overall I had a great stay!

Overall, everything was good and I would recommend this hotel to families. I would suggest that the hotel improve their breakfast that they offered for an additional cost. It is just too simple and does not offer enough items and is not a good value. The laundry facilities are convenience, however, the dryer cycle is too short and leaves clothing still wet. It’s well located in proximity to the local train station as well as a supermarket.

AMAZING property! Breakfast was overpriced for what it is/what you get and would not do it again (althought it's delicious). Very walkable, a couple mins from Kyoto station and with a 7/11 practically accross the street. Great service as well, they provide smaller things like lotions, toothpastes/brushes, etc. Also you can get a pretty cool view of Kyoto tower. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Situated very close to Kyoto station, its a very convenient hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable & they had many smart storage solutions for our coats & items despite its size. There is a supermarket right opposite & a convenience store close by. The staff spoke amazing English, and were very polite & helpful. They also had an abundance of free stuff including about 5(!) choices of pillows, a stuffed toy for kids, and free face masks, shaving kits, hair treatment, coffee, tea etc. It was my favourite hotel during my trip & I'll definitely be back again.

We had a night at Kyoto and needed to set off early next morning by Shinkansen. This hotel was suitable for our needs - fairly spacious rooms within walking distance from the station. Would recommend for short stays if visiting Kyoto.

Great value for money - but needs noise proofing
Front desk staff were forthcoming and very attentive. The hotel even offered a pillow bar with premium selections so that was very nice. Shaver was very blunt though. Comprehensive offering of toiletries including bath salts and facial cleaning routine items. Room was pretty small but to be expected from this price range (we paid around 6,500 JPY per night) and this location (5-7 minute walk from Kyoto station) We stayed for two nights and the first night was great but we had noisy neighbours the next night. The problem is we weren’t even sure if they were being particularly loud or if it was because of the thin walls. We heard every conversation and every rattle in their closet as well as their television. This was really annoying as they didn’t go to sleep until around 12am but they all woke up and resumed their raucous routines at around 6am in the morning so we got only around five hours of sleep as by the time they were done and had left the room it was already 8.30am. Further Noise proofing (not completely but at least I shouldn’t be hearing them go through their closet!!!!!) should be done. Everything else was fine but we were quite grumpy and irritated because of the second night and left the hotel simply exhausted with no energy to spend
