The hotel was conveniently located just a short walk from the train station, with a handy laundry nearby. The rooms were very decent in size for Japan. The only downside was that the place was somewhat dark.

Nice hotel but every day exactly the same breakfast. This is fine if you stay for 2 nights but after 10 nights there should be more change! No milk / milk powder in the rooms. You always have to ask at reception. No body cream provided. Bar closes very early. So you cannot even have a drink after you come back from a day out. My Accor number could not be added to my booking, so I could not avail of the welcome drink either. Room size is generous for Japanese standards. All in all a good hotel with some flaws.

It is located at a 7 minute walk from Kyoto Station. Its a central part of Kyoto which features underground dining and shopping amenities, train and bus stations and access to the entire Kyoto area and access to the entire Japan through the Shinkansen. There are also other stores nearby like Yodobashi and Aeon Mall and Don Quiote. There is also the iconic Kyoto Tower. It is walking distance from many amenities. The included breakfast buffet is outstandingly delicious and allows a quick start to a day of exploring and shopping. There are also three fabulous temples that are within walking distance. The staff are absolutely excellent and extremely polite and helpful. The decor is also very excellent and the hotel lounge looks excellent.

The large sized room was very comfy and cozy for our 11 night stay in Kyoto. The location, staff and hotel were very nice, and we would stay there again. Although we were a little disappointed with the breakfast.

Very stylish and comfortable Hotel, due to the Location near the Kyoto station also easy to catch public transport. Unfortunately we had the stairs of another building close to our window and hence got hardly any daylight. Everything else was perfect!

Excellent hotel to stay at. Very close to Kyoto station. Would give it five stars across the board except for the Italian restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was sub par (all 4 dishes we had) and the cost was astronomical. Stay away from the restaurant and go support one of the many local places nearby.

Great hotel. Happy hour in the lobby is a great touch. Staff was very friendly and the entire property had a nice modern feel. The room needed a few more plugs and maybe some drawers.

Good location but below average customer service
This hotel is within 5 minutes away from Kyoto station and many local dinning options. That is about it about this hotel. Rooms are too small. The customer service is awful. The front desk staff barely understand English. We requested a taxi the night before we checked out. We needed a taxi early in the morning due to a flight we needed to catch. When we checked out the front staff looked lost and disoriented. They told us that they forget to request the taxi, when in fact, when we requested the taxi they wrote in a piece of paper. They lady was on the phone with the taxi company for over 20 minutes and she looked lost, to a point that she handled the situation to one of her colleagues. Terrible service, I had to asked a guy who took over, to explain explain to us what is going on. That’s when he said that they must of forgot to request the taxi. On another token, one day after we came back to our room after a long day of exploring, house keeping did our room and turn off the air conditioning. We had to wait like 15 minutes for our room to cool down. Last but not least, the breakfast the hotel offers when you book is below average and the same thing everyday. Cold scramble eggs, and is not worth it paying for breakfast when they serve the same thing everyday and low quality food.

Accessible from Kyoto Station, with about 8mins walk. Opposite the hotel is a teppan izakaya style restaurant, which the hotel is able to make the reservation for us in advance. The restaurant is excellent! Room is clean and spacious, ideal for young families. The staffs were all friendly. On check out day, I forgot that I left my passport in the hotel room safe, they were able to retrieve it and safekeep it till I am there to get it back.
