Kyoto style

The Mitsui Garden was a wonderful place to stay. We were walking and touring around Kyoto all day and it was lovely to come home and relax in our room, use the onsen and sneak up to the nearby supermarket for snacks. Great location, lovely staff and a very nice environment.

Good hotel that isn’t too far away

Hotel was very clean and check-in / check-out service was very efficient. They even have laundry rooms as well as hot baths onsen in the hotel. Was pleasantly surprised.

Perfect location. I also really appreciated the allergy signage for breakfast. I have a gluten allergy and found it very hard to eat in Japan but breakfast here was an exception! The public bath was so great after long days on our feet.
