Wonderful staff (several are excellent English speakers). Charming layout that looks like a real street in old Kyoto. Room had its own private onsen that worked very well. Definitely appreciated that free minibar and drinks/snacks lounge and the late-snack they will bring to your room. Lovely place!

Offered a good modern ryokan experience with in room onsen. The staff are young, friendly and enthusiastic about their job to make the stay a comfortable one, though service can be more refined. Excellent Wague dinner at Bungon and a very pretty Japanese breakfast! Had a wonderful and rested stay.
