I would leave higher rate, but on 2nd day of our stay I noticed couple of cockroaches around the coffee machine in the lobby, Not cool at all !!!. Another issue was the breakfast, we arrived most days before 9am, but most of the main ingredients were very low, and when we asked for the person in charge he gave us attetude ( not Japanese hospitality at all ),and when we told the receptionist she kinda laughed it off, and said we should tell them what's missing and they'll make more. overseas trips and wait for breakfast to get ready ??? The bartender manager Mr. Irem and Thai Lady server Ms. BahanatPat ( not sure right spellin) were the best hosts. Stayed at this hotel before, and noticed the service was not as adequette as our past experience. Good location close to Kyoto station, and right next to the Shoji station is the best to go around Kyoto. Will saty again if the above issues are noticed by the hotel management.
