Canadian here. Amazing experience at this hotel. Free coffee and tea after 10am. Free alcoholic/non—alcoholic beverage every day after 6pm. The public bath is gender separated and consists of a hot pool, cold pool, and dry saunas - all kept very cleanly and felt amazing, went twice per day (must follow Japanese customs of being nude but it was very nice). Amazing experience. Thank you very much!

I really loved this place and here is why: my room had a double bed a d it was spacious, the onsen was great for early morning and end of day bathing, the lobby was elegant with a free coffee/tea station all day long, free happy hour, free massage chairs and a delicious breakfast with all sorts of mini sandwiches, smoothies, and lots of Japanese specialties to try. I've stayed in a few different hotels in Kyoto and this was my favorite.

Room had an amazing view of the mountains, and was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff were helpful, and amenities were great with public baths, a free drink in the evening, and free coffee and tea throughout the day. The lobby was well maintained and had a great vibe. Super accessible using train line right outside the door which connects to major stations. Absolutely loved it 10/10

Great hotel! Within easy walking distance of the train station, with an amazing buffet breakfast -- the best we encountered during our 3 weeks in Japan -- and a free drink each evening. And the price was great, too! (We were there during the off-season, though -- in February.)

The service is great and the small extras e.g. complimentary drinks and baths. The only minor comments is that there is no real storage e.g. to unpack if you are staying for long enough. That said, we would recommend and also agree we would stay again.
