Love this hotel, convenience location. 1 min walk to subway, 15 mins walk to nishiki market. Love the welcome drinks area and the public baths. Great soba restaurant across the road.

The hotel was very nice and clean with great breakfast buffet. Their public bath was big and clean and I really enjoyed it after walking around Kyoto all day. Only thing is that there were not too many dining options in immediate area (there were some). Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

The breakfast is worth every penny! Lots of options for both western and Japanese tastes and the coffee is so delicious. Just a short walk away is the restaurant Taiho where you can enjoy the best ramen Kyoto has to offer!

Pros: The staff was lovely!!! The hotel is close to a train station and it is easy to walk anywhere. Cons: The floor in the room was outright dirty and there was filth behind the toilet lid (mostly yucky hair). It looked like the edges of the carpet (by the walls) were never vacuumed and there were many stains (milk or coffee) on the floor. I could also see some caked in grains of rice scattered around.

We have completed our 5 night stay in this nice hotel which is also the end of our vacation in Japan. Very clean. Quiet area. Good location. In the middle between Kyoto station and downtown Kyoto. Gojo subway station is nearby. My wife loves the bath experience. I like the breakfast buffet. The room size is good as well. The only downside is the high volume of bus tourist companies. The best is the 5 star service and hospitality from the staff. Great experience overall.

Hotel fine but noisey rooms.
Lovely hotel with everything we needed. Comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and provided a great service. The only downside was the constant noise in the room from something like a generator or maybe the aircon. It was the only hotel we stayed in where we needed earplugs. Shame because the actual room and facilities were very good.

Great property to stay at. Very clean and great amenities provided. Love the free drinks for people staying there. There is a 7-11 across the entrance, making it easy to stock up supplies for the day out. Most of the major restaurants and shopping is a quick taxi/transit stop away or at least a 10-15 minute walk. No microwave provided in the room we had. The pillows are a little odd being a 3 in 1 foldable pillow? I would stay here again for sure!

Luxury hotel with lots of amenities
Hotel was very noce, upscale. They give you slippers and a yukuta to sleep in. The room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast was like a big feast with traditional Japanese foods as well as croissants, bread, cakes, yogurt and ceral/granola. The hotel was next close to the train station and near plenty of food options. We had the Pizza-la a few times. The staff was kind and helpful most spoke English. There was a coin operated laundry, vending machine, foot massage machines, and a spa. I would definitely come back here and stay again. We liked their yukuta so much we bought 3 to take home as a souvenir.

Very nice and clean hotel within walking distance to Kyoto hotel. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of Japanese food and a more modest selection of Western food. It was nice to have options for both public and private baths. Plenty of signage in English for food and guidance to use the hotel. It was a disappointment that upon check-in we were told to pay an extra charge for our 17 year old and had to ask for amenities for him. We were unsuccessful in disputing the charge as our invoice did not separate room and breakfast charges. The hotel description has now been updated with this information.

Hotel has standard size room, good for 2 adults maybe 1 kid, but cramped for family of 4. Breakfast is great with very good selections of Japanese and western food. Japanese bath is a plus, a great relax of body after long walks around the city.
