"The staff were nice. They were short staffed. The pool and hot tubs were overcrowded or not working. Kids not being watched ,under age. Under age kids drinking and vaping at the pool and hot tubs."

"WOW. How does this place stay open? The only good thing about this hotel was the ice cream. It seemed fine at first. But, things just kept going downhill.The bed sunk in horribly, giving my back no support.That's fun when you have a bad back. I asked the front desk for a comforter to maybe put in the sunken part. That never came. They did supply us with endless towels and washcloths when asked. Then we got a text saying building 11 will have no power for a few hours.Thankfully that wasn't our building. Then the next night, there was an altercation right outside our door for a few hours from 10pm past midnight. Screaming, banging on the door,the whole time. Called security 3 times. They seemed to believe the intoxicated person, who would say they were sorry and that they would leave. Yea, they didn't. There were no towels when we attempted to go swimming. The front desk can't hear anything you try to say to them because it's so loud in the lobby.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DONT STAY HERE!"

"The room was very nice, clean upon arrival and seemed well maintained. Parking costs were high and an added expense that was hidden in the fine print. Food was below average and would compare to highschool cafeteria level quality but at theme park resort prices. Even the pancakes and pizza were pretty rough to get down. Room service was mid. I had a bunch of trash that I put in a shopping bag from souvenir shopping and I found a large trash bag left next to it upon entering the room. One day two of the three beds were made but not the third one. Towels were refilled but not other toiletries. Had to call for toilet paper and soap. The pool was nice but with no staff activities my kids found the resort to be overall boring."

"If you are booking primarily for location, this hotel is a winner. It is the closest non-Universal hotel to the parks with a dedicated walkway that runs parallel to Universal’s own path. It’s a leisurely 20-minute walk to CityWalk, which is much easier than dealing with shuttles. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is incredibly dated and doesn’t look much like the images you see online. The maid service however was very reliable, which we appreciated. We had clean towels delivered daily and our bed was made up every evening. Overall a good budget option!"

"Coco is a pretty property and in a semi walkable area. The only complaint would be the food. The choices were limited so we ate elsewhere most of the time"

"Room was great we got the biggest room they had which I suggest not much more money every thing was close we also ate mushrooms which I don’t suggest cause we got lost just going across the street and couldn’t find the hotel for over a hour but we had a great trip lol and great stay "
