"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Beech Hill Hotel. On arrival we received a complimentary upgrade. Our room was beautiful and the super king bed was unbelievably comfortable, we had the best nights sleep. The complimentary spa was a nice addition to our stay. The hotel is in a lovely location, far enough from the busy town so not too crowded or noisy but also not too far from anything. Perfect for a quiet getaway in the Lake District."

"A big old hotel about a mile off the main road, wondered where we were going to start with as you couldn,t see the building. When we got there it had such character nothing modern looking at all, the reception staff were very happy to see you . The rooms had real doors keys and were comfortable. The staff did there best to understand our food intolerances which enabled us to eat in the restraunt. All in all a very pleasant overnight stay. Thankyou Shap Wells Hotel"

"We had a lovely family stay in Keswick from 17th to 22nd August and really enjoyed our time here. The location is excellent, surrounded by beautiful mountains and close to the lakes, with many Lake District attractions within an easy drive. The hotel was particularly good for our family. We stayed in a family room for six, which gave us plenty of space. My daughter especially loved the heated swimming pool, and the leisure facilities were a real bonus. Everything was clean and well maintained, with a sauna, jacuzzi, showers and changing/locker areas for adults. There is also a spa where you can book treatments and massages. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. You can enjoy the buffet or arrange breakfast in your room by ordering in advance. We also enjoyed the restaurant during our stay. Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces at both the front and back of the hotel, which was very convenient as we had our own car. From here, we could easily visit the lakes, mountains, wildlife parks and enjoy activities such as boat trips. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable family stay. If youโre looking for an all-in-one hotel in Keswick with good facilities, parking and a great location for exploring the Lake District, this is an excellent choice. We would happily stay again."

Vanessa and the other dining room staff coped admirably with the additional presence of a very large number of cyclists and support teams on the first night that were involved in a high profile race."
