"Our Lady Host was AMAZING - she spoke great English, was very classy and paid attention to every detail. MOST OF ALL she simply wanted to ensure we had an amazing stay and enjoyed Salzburg. You will NOT find better communication or service anywhere else in Europe. We will return to Salzburg and will ONLY stay at Townhouse Weisses Krenz!!!"
"Hotel Sacher Salzburg is a gem in the old city, perfectly perched along the river with stunning views. The elegant rooms blend classic charm with ultimate comfort, making it a memorable stay. A sweet highlight was the famous Sacher Torte, gifted to us upon arrival—a delicious touch of tradition."
"Absolutely stunning property with amazing views. The best and most catering staff I have ever experienced at a hotel. Easily joined the top 3 best hotels either my wife or I have ever experienced. Wish we had more time!"
"Modern room in an historic building. The location was perfect—a short walk to the market area, the Cathedral, the Fortress, Mirabell Gardens. Many restaurants nearby. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, and the staff was very helpful!"
"The hotel is centrally located within a short walk to many sites in New town as well as those in Old Town. Our room was comfortable in an old world style. Great breakfast every day with nice hot coffee! Very accommodating staff as well."

"We only stopped one night on our way to the Dolomites - but the hotel couldn't be in a more central location. We drove, but if you take the train, it is literally right outside the main doors of the train station. "
"The location is convenient. It is about 20-24 minutes from the old town and 10 minutes from Mirabell Palace. It is also a short drive to the airport. "
"Hotel Hofwirt was an excellent choice and I would recommend it highly. As a first time solo traveller, I wanted to stay somewhere I felt safe and where the environment was clean, comfortable and not too big or overwhelming.
The staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. The accommodation was modern, minimal and clean. I brought my own travel kettle but the hotel does have a wonderfully relaxing communal area where you can make tea and coffee or buy a snack from a vending machine. It even has a microwave which you can use and charging points near the sofas. Outside is a huge patio area. Everywhere was clean and looked after. Breakfast was nice but get there early if you want the eggs or porridge to stay hot.
The only draw back for me was the comfort of the bed - the mattress seemed quite hard, so I ended up sleeping on one of the single duvet covers which worked well. Also the shower wasn't very powerful and the way it was positioned made it difficult to negotiate. It didn't ruin my stay though because everything else was so great.
Even though I was on the road side of the hotel, it wasn't noisy (unless you opened a window). I enjoyed hearing the distant bells from St Sebastian's. The location of the hotel is very good... close to shops, cafés and restaurants. Mirabell Gardens was a 10 min walk turning right out of the hotel. Straight on out of the hotel would bring you to the river and across to old town, 10 min walk. I put my case into storage after checkout - no charge."

Conceived as a palace for a mistress, the Mirabell Palace remains a splendid setting for love matches, its elegant lawns often decked with brides and grooms.
