Cheap nights in London

I was desperate for a cheap bed in London and this fitted the bill. It was quite clean but very basic. It did have microwave, fridge and toaster in a very small space but the only hanging space on the back of the door.

Bare Bones

Walls were dirty, scuffed up in the bedroom and halls of the building. Blind barely fit window in room, no screen on window, no soap to wash hands, room was so small we could barely walk around bed. Bed was hard and uncomfortable, room was dirty as well as bathroom. Walls super thin! This reminded me of a cheap hostel. No plug in bathroom to do hair, and no mirror by plug in bedroom. Mirror in the bathroom was a joke (see picture). The only good thing was the breakfast offered by the nice lady in the restaurant downstairs.

Stuffed in room with a double deck and 2 singles.

Hated it. Booked room for two expecting two beds with space to move about. But was stuffed in a room with crammed with one double decker and 2 single beds. Toilet old and grimy. Sheets grey and worn out. Only saving grace was closeness to underground station.

Two night stay

Booked and paid for two nights, but only stayed one. The room was clean, the on suite tiny. Breakfast is a joke. They have a deal with the cafe next door, which opened at 9 o'clock, they were under staffed, we went in at 9 and we're still waiting for most of our breakfast at 10 when we gave up and left. Some customers had been completely ignored for 40 minutes. The idea of staying two nights was based on an early start for home the next day, as this would not have been possible we left and drove home in the night. If the accommodation was bed only it would have been just about acceptable, but bed and breakfast is a total waste of money.

Het is echt bed en breakfast meer ook niet. Er is geen receptie o.i.d. ontbijten doe je in het restaurant er naast, welke wel zijn best doet maar niet efficiënt bezig is. Een paar dagen kan langer zou ik het niet fijn vinden.

The room was basic but clean, all you need. We were welcomed on arrival and given free wifi codes. Room had tea and coffee making facilities just would have benefited from having milk. We were told to ring helpful proprietor if we needed anything. Apologies were offered as no available breakfast during our stay but discount made from cost of stay. Great place for breakfast just up the road opposite petrol station.

Nur im Notfall benutzen!

Zimmer wurde 5 Tage nicht gesäubert. Klopapier und Handtücher wurden nur auf Nachfrage erneuert. Oberbetten waren toxisch bzw. sehr unangenehm! Bett bzw. Matratze durchgelegen oder Superbillig; man rollt immer zur Mitte/ Kuhle. Eigentümer hat Besucher und die Länge des Aufenthaltes an Hand von Videos kontrolliert. Kein Frühstück, selten jemand vor Ort oder im Büro.

Billederne er nogle år gamle. Sengene trænger til en "up-date". Vi lå begge i midten af sengen! Bogstaveligt talt :-) Spørg efter et værelse med vindue væk fra hovedgaden. Det værelse vi boede på, her var ingen wifi når døren var lukket :-( Men dejligt tæt på Undergrunden....

Close to train station

While Benny's B&B isn't high-end accommodation, it was clean and comfortable. We had a family room which included a double bed and two singles which was very reasonably priced, particularly as it included a cooked breakfast (for 3). They are very close to South Ealing station, meaning it is quick and easy to get into the city, as well as to and from Heathrow. The owner Benny is a character, helpful and happy to assist us with anything we needed. All in all a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Not an enjoyable experience

Was just a terrace house on the side of the street. Didn't even realise it was the b&b till I rang them. Staff were nice but it wasn't a welcoming place. Mattress was extremely thin, have never seen anything like it; could feel the bed frame underneath. Had more of a hostel vibe to it. Would be fine if you were going to watch the football or something where you only want somewhere cheap, but not a place to stay for business or holiday.

1 semaine aux vacances de la toussaint, avec 2 enfants : chambre avec lit double (bon matelas) et 3 lits 1 place, avec salle de bain et cuisine équipée où l'on peut prendre ses repas Petits déjeuners très copieux servis dans une salle à manger commune par Benny ou sa collègue Moments d'échange et de conseils avec Benny : super très bonne semaine dans cet hôtel d'un très bon rapport qualité prix pour une famille avec enfants dans une même chambre à Londres Situation géographique très bonne (proximité Heathrow), en début de zone 3, à moins de 5 minutes de la station de métro, on est dans le centre de Londres en 20 minutes Adresse à recommander (sauf si l'on cherche un 3 ou 4 étoiles, avec un budget beaucoup plus conséquent) Merci Benny !

Close to underground & 4 Pubs & lots of restraunts

Benny was very helpful & breakfast was great. In our room the shower needed fixing & the stopper on the bath sink needed fixing. The room was clean, but we had to ask for clean towels & toliet paper, they never came in our room the hole week to clean. Bennys is close to the Underground & there is a grocery store close by also, room also had a good fridge.
