"Room, staff and restaurant was fantastic. The only issue for us was that we were on the street side and the Spurs won there game and for 2 hours the yelling, horns honking woke us up and prevented us from going back to sleep. This wasn't against the hotel, but would recommend a river side or interior hotel room. "

"Breakfast was good although repetitive and fairly limited. For example, same thing every day. Sausage was tasty but never had bacon. I never found fruit. We did not use the pool. The employees were excellent and extremely helpful. Parking is a little pricey and the valet parking was slow at times. The hotel offers free drinks and a buffet every night which is highly unusual. We found the free drinks not to our liking, but the food was different each night and really only one item with salad greens and some kind of roll. The food was tasty. We ate there only two nights but all the mornings (4). Great location. You can walk almost everywhere. We walked to the historic Market Square, the Alamo, the Riverwalk, the Governor's House, San Fernando Cathedral, the Magic Saloon (lots of fun, highly recommend), and the Western Art Museum (also recommended) We drove to the UNESCO Historic Mission National Park, the San Pedro Creek Culture Park which you could walk, and the Pearl Brewery District. The first night we were there the San Antonio Spurs won their play off game and the streets were raucous with noise, Horns blaring, tires revving until 1 or 2 am. The hotel was not insulated for that type of noise!"

"Lobby was clean and updated, rooms was not. Pool was freezing, small, and crumbling, but water was clean. Breakfast was stale white bread and weird tasting eggs with bad coffee."

"The room was clean. The bed was mostly comfortable more comfortable than other beds that I’ve been at other hotels. The only two things that I didn’t like were the breakfast was just packaged granola bars and such and had to ask him to make coffee, but he did with a smile and the plug outlet in the bathroom did not work so I could not use their blow dryer thank God I had brought my own overall it was a good day. They had a pool that was clean and had no problems with anything. I would stay there again."

"The staff was very welcoming and helpful. My room was spotless. The parking area and e tire property is very well lit at night with cameras. I felt very safe here. I would stay here again!"
