Its location is close to the Jonker Street Night Market on the weekends and is within walking distance of many of the major tourist attractions and areas. If you arrive on the weekend, you may need to take a taxi with a driver who knows how to avoid the road closures; Grab would not accept rides. The breakfast buffet is ample with a mix of Asian and Western options. We opted to use the spa, which was a relaxing and pleasurable experience. The facilities are well kept, combining modern and historic. They could improve their commitment to environmental sustainability, such as offering water dispensers and refillable toiletry dispensers instead of using plastic bottles. The hotel did receive a bus load of mainland Chinese tourists, who were quite loud in the hallways and breakfast area. Although this is not the fault of the hotel staff, if they could have emphasized speaking softly and minimizing the noise level for the courtesy of all guests, it may have helped. "
