The staff and hotel overall were great. The buffet breakfast was really good. The room overall was nice and comfortable, but smelled like raw sewage. Otherwise, this place is fine for a short stay.

Good bassic Hotel Resrot - espeically for children
Good basic hotel. Room and fittings were clean - just a little tired. Staff were all helpful and efficient. Breakfast and dinner meals were good but not outstanding. Quite a lot of children staying - hotel appears v good for families. Lots of very well kept pools. Evening entetainment aimed at children. WiFi very slow. TV old and basic. Could not change any language settings for channels clearly showing movies with several language options - mostly set up for German..

Overall we had a great time in Mallorca and didn't find this hotel to be bad, but don't expect a palace! It was a bit tired, cleanliness could be improved, and the food left a lot to be desired. We were there with two kids ages 9 and 12. Had really lovely interactions with the reception staff, they were great. We had a poolside room with a lovely view. Beds were fine but the sofa beds were not. Firstly they were made up from the previous guests with used sheets etc. We needed one bed, housekeeping made up that one but left the other dirty bed. The blankets did not seem washed, they were stinky, and the sofa beds were old and hard. As such we ended up sleeping with three in the one bed in the bedroom. Thankfully even though there were a few activities on, we didn't find the rooms to be too loud. The outdoors at the hotel are nice and the location to the beach is really easy - 2 min walk and you're there. Also is close to the town center so easy to reach everything. Indoor pool and sauna facilities aren't great. Pool is small, hot tub is not really hot and we couldn't tell if it was cleaned etc and staff did not monitor the pool so there were often teenagers in there being rowdy and the edges of the pool were dirty. It wasn't warm enough to swim outdoors so we ended up going to another hotel and bought day passes to swim there. Food...we had half board and if we were to go back we wouldn't do a package with food. Found many things to be inedible and not fresh.

Probably good for families
Good - bus stops nearby, as is fery port; superb selection and quality at breakfast; close to beach NOT SO GOOD - No route from rooms to dining room without going out into the cold and rain! - On departure day I asked for a wake up cal at 6.30 but it came at 5.30! - Reception ordered a taxi to take me to the ferry port but it didn't turn up; BUT one of the staff took me in his own car in the end - You are partly paying for entertainment and activities, so not good value if you simply want bed and food.

Regarding the "tourist tax", this is a local tax decided 2 years ago by the Majorcan governmnet as an "Eco tax" in order to preserve the environmental ressources of the islands. THANKS TO ALL.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
This hotel is by far the best 3 star I have been to. From the front desk, The staff were professional, yet friendly and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was exactly the same in the restaurant. Really spot on staff, and the food was right up there with the 4 & 5 stars. I must say that the cleanliness in all areas was excellent, and the cleaning staff were always very pleasant. Even when My Wife took sick, and We had to fly back to the UK, Everybody made things as painless as possible. We will definitely be back to "finish Our holiday off". Thanks to Everyone for a great stay. John.

Good for those on a budget
The hotel was lovely at first glance. However once in the room you realise the walls are made of paper, you can hear conversations all around you. The corridor is echoey as hell and people seem to have no respect and shout down the corridor at all hours. The hotel is cleaned every other day which is fine in terms of being environmentally friendly. And the reception is very accommodating if you need more towels for the pool etc. Our tap was leaking in the kitchen and took 2 days to fix- not great as it is an Aparthotel and we could not clean dishes etc as all the water would end up on the floor. Given that we were visiting in Feb-March the pool and jacuzzi were freezing most of the days we were then. When we brought this to the receptions attention nothing seemed to be done. They were also filthy. Overall it was an ok stay. I imagine that in the summer the experience is better. Location is great for cycling and is a short walk to the centre of the port.

This is a nice hotel in a good location but the food lets it down. We were asked to pay €12 each for a buffet breakfast that was only worth €4. The quality was poor without a lot of taste. I ended up going to a local bakery every morning and got a better tasty breakfast for 2 for about €9

Lovely surprise
Beautiful hotel, rooms were nice with all we needed and were serviced everyday of our stay apart from Sunday. As someone of a ethnic minority I would say you may get a few stares but it was nothing hostile and I never felt unsafe, honestly a lovely surprise as I had never stayed in a 3 star but it honestly could be a 4 star.

Nice hotel close to the beach and port area
Great family holiday hotel... wonderful pool area. Very central location. Helpful staff. I would recommend room only and then eat out in the many restaurants in the area as the food at the hotel is a bit bland...particularly breakfast

Great hotel close to beach and shops
The hotel was beautiful, amazing food and friendly staff. Only downside was the poor air conditioning in apartment. It did little to cool the rooms and didn't work when room was unoccupied - returned to boiling hot room at night was very unpleasant and made sleep difficult.

Hotel close to beach and harbour
The first glimpse of the hotel was very promising. Tidy and smart from the outside. We were in an apartment block which was well maintained and clean. The grounds were very well kept as was the pool. The apartment was stylish and clean, the only downside was ours overlooked a side road, which at the time was having road works done! Not the fault of the hotel though.

Just got back from a 5 day holiday at this hotel. It was very clean, rooms are comfortable & spacious (we had a 1 bed apartment) the food was excellent -good variety& of good quality. Hotel staff were all very helpful & friendly. We would definitely go back.

loved this hotel, we went half board asd it was fantastic. loads of choice for breakfast and all you can eat, same for dinner. room was great and clean and up to date. only 2 complaints - bed was very uncomfortable, I woke every morning after a horrible night's sleep with a broken back and there was no kettle. everything else was spot on.

If you are into loud music banging away until midnight everynight then here is the place to stay. Rooms are very tired and old and need a major update especially the bathrooms which really are quite bad.

Great location just hotel is extremely basic.
The hotel itself was only a stones throw from the beach and had plenty of shops and restaurants very close to it. just don't be fooled this isn't a small hotel we couldn't get anywhere near the pool as they were all taken up by 9am! The cleanliness was good overall but there was Mosquitos in our bathroom when we arrived and we was bitten a lot on the first night until we bought some spray to oust them. The sheets and towels were changed daily which was good. We only had breakfast but he food was very much a continental kind of breakfast. There was a lot of German guests but we was made to feel welcome. The TV only had 1 English Channel which is a minor gribe and there was no kettle provided also the air conditioning wasn't up to much hardly made it cooler at all and the instructions on how to use it were all in German we figured it out after the first night. Overall this isn't the best hotel around but benefits from its location

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel once before in the high season and now in the low season. They were undergoing extensive renovation work to their reception area but a temporary reception had been set up and was working well . the staff and the rooms are excellent

Staying at Alcudia Gardens for Ironman Mallorca
I stay here for Ironman Mallorca and the apartments are ideally located right next to Transition. Having Bikes in your rooms and going in and out no problems. Rooms were cleaned daily and accommodation was comfortable ideal for athletes. I didn't eat in the hotel made my breakfast (porridge) in my apartment which has a small kitchen but no Kettle or Mugs. Good for swimming takes 5mins to reach the swim start !

Within minutes of walking into the room it was clear that the airconditioning didn't work, the aerial was taped to the wall, it smelt of smoke even though it was a non smoking room ( the blankets reeked) and it was dirty. The handyman came promptly and was very helpful but he taped the aerial again and after starting the aircon showed us that there was a connection which had to be made by the patio doors, this was rickety and unreliable. There was a broom and dustpan in the room which we went round the edges of the floor with and a dead insect sat on a bathroom shelf all week. They don't even have cleaners in twice a week! We had no hand towels the day before no cleaning so I requested them and new bath towels too. The buffet food was reasonable. The best thing for us was the closeness to the beach as the pools were small and it was very crowded around it. There was no reasonable adult entertainment, plenty for under 5's,

Previewed this hotel before and had a walk around the grounds on my visit to Alcudia before. Reception and grounds of hotel lovely . Pool a very good size with a smaller children's pool . Sun beds very comfortable and you can hire towels which we didn't know about . We were s/c so didn't sample the food tho again dining room and food on display looked very appetising . We were going to upgrade but it is slightly pricey and we were on a "cheap" break . We usually do go AI and to be honest we missed it this year as we got a small plastic cup of juice from bar that cost 2euros . Rooms are clean, but very basic . Fridge and cooker top had seen better days . Sink area and electric cooker top are all in one unit , so had to put towel on drainer to stop water running into cooker dials !!!! Was chilly at this time of year and we tried on numerous occasions to get some heating to work . Same with the advertised wifi for the teenagers with us . They informed us that it was being fixed , but if you pd for it it worked - go figure . Maids were there nearly everyday and did a good job with lots of fresh (but again seen better days) towels . This I suspect would be a noisy hotel in the summer as rooms are in tiled corridors and the sound carries . Would I return to this hotel ? It was okay and we did only use the room/pool area . Probably yes as it's a good value hotel for sleeping in . Alcudia tho I'm sad to say has changed over the years . This will be our last time in the resort - no fault of the hotels tho .

I've stayed in the area quite a bit since December (its February now) - this hotel is OK. The reception staff are not the most pleasant that I've experienced, the rooms are functional but not the most comfortable either. Its just pretty average. I wouldn't spend much money here - spend a little more and stay over the road at Vanity Golf.

Great location, good hotel
The rooms are adequate. Small kitchette, lounge area with large flat screen TV. OK size balcony and large bathroom with bath and shower. The outdoor pool area is good with plenty of beds. Very close to the beach and and the harbour, also close to shops and bars. Never used the indoor pool or sauna/jacuzzi as it was too nice outside. Reception very helpful. I liked it and would use it again.

Hotel it's self was very nice but very noisy at all times of the day. So do not stay here if you want peace and quiet. Also not many english people stay at this hotel. The food in the restaurant was nice and the pool and other amenities were good. There are no lifts so ask for a ground floor room if you have mobility problems. Also I found check-in a very bad experience, took over an hour because I didn't have printed confirmation of my booking only email via my iPhone which wasn't enough! I won't use this hotel again ! Also you have to pay 15€ to hire a kettle

A decidedly average experience - nothing horribly offensive, nothing fantastic. The cleaning of the rooms could have been better house keeping missed our room a few times and I would REALLY recommend that the hotel invest in Mosquito repellents. The air con was selective about when it decided to work, and the beds were most uncomfortable. My last gripe is the noise level from the street facing rooms as the first floor rooms are directly over resturants. The location is great in relation to town centre, beach, local shops and resturants and the staff did try and be very helpful.The pool area is lovely. A very family orientated hotel, but I wouldn't return, especially not in peak season.
