It was a nice hotel in manila. 24 front desk is very convenient for international arrivals as not sure about exact time when u can check in. As my flight schedule was delayed one day. It was a little bit different using swipe card for elevator. the staff was very helpful to teach me how to use the elevator. Very high-tech and secure in my opinion. Staff very helpful. The restaurant/cafe food tasted good. I enjoyed my stay there even though only 1 night.

All was Good (specially the service). The only negative point is that the streets around are noisy until late night and the acoustic isolation of the Windows should be improved.

Despite booking for three, I had to ask to be given more than one key, ask for towel/toiletries etc., for three (rather than two). Food was strange ..... Spaghetti bolognese (listed as having tomato sauce) served without tomato sauce .... food served cold/lukewarm or a mix of warm (ie. salmon) and cold (vegetables) in the same order. Had a slight Fawlty Towers feel :) Check in staff and doormen very nice and helpful. Nice room - size and comfortable.

Great location, modern and clean. The unfortunate aspects is that they have noisy neighbours nearby and can get a bit loud on the weekend. Another factor is that the air-conditioner placement in the room is usually directly pointed at the bed, thus it can be either very cold or warm and would take some time to get used to a perfect temperature.

We've stayed here in the past and love it here. Conveniently located next to Robinson's and Essentia for our massages. Plenty of helpful visible police and CCTV everywhere. Many options for dining and Ministops too! Extremely helpful staff. Always polite and courteous.

Handy location, a few nice touches & spacious room
We (3 friends) stayed in a room with 2 queen beds over NYE. We arrived at 3.30pm and the room wasn't ready, dissapointing given the 2pm check in. Luckily they provided coffee while we waited about 10 mins. The room on the 10th floor was spacious and as per the pictures you find online. It had a roomy bathroom and comfortable beds. Despite being a relatively new looking building they didn't invest in double glazing & even on the 10th floor we could hear commotion from the street below (which was louder than normal because of NYE). The hotel was having a NYE function on the 12/top floor (1388 pesos inc buffet dinner & two drinks with live band) but we wanted to be able to acces the rootop at midnight as paying guests. The first staff member we asked said it was only for function guests but then the manager overheard & said it was no problem. At midnight we went up to the roof top to see all the crazy fireworks go off around the city. We didnt get a chance to use the pool (one of the reasons we chose this hotel over others in the area) because of the rain.It is a very small pool so really only good for a quick dip. We were able to sign out umbreallas to borrow & reception organised a taxi to the airport at 3.30am. A good choice hotel in Manila and I may consider again as its close to robinson mall and about a 25 min walk to intramutros.

This place is amazing! It's a bit pricey when compared to surrounding options, but it is truly worth the extra cash. I've stayed here a few times now and will continue to do so.

Very Close to Robinsons Place Mall, Malate!
The hotel is simple and straightforward as it can get. The Wifi is stable and fast enough, considering the standards found in Manila. I did not get breakfast though, thus unqualified to review the food. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are too soft for me. However, most importantly, the staff are polite and the hotel is clean. I had issues in other hotels in Manila where the air circulation was not good but Amelie is great in this aspect. The toilets have your basic requirements but the shower can get the floor pretty wet as the shower do not have a shower curtain nor anything to stop the water from splashing out. You can walk to Robinsons in 2 mins and should there be rain, you can borrow an umbrella from the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel.

A Nice Hotel Near Robinson’s
Except for a strange conversation with staff before our arrival trying to confirm reservations, the whole experience was great. There are some night life spots nearby that are somewhat loud and not exactly family friendly, but, again, that wasn’t much of a problem for us. We have stayed at various hotels in the vicinity and this one is our new go to. Plus, the small, but, very well situated pool on the roof is a great addition.

My Choice for Malate
Amerlie is a smaller, but very comtemporary designed hotel. It has a very personalize feel that I crave. The hotel is easy to enter and exit for people on the go. I think the location is excelkent. Less than 5 minutes to Robinson's Mall and than than 10 minute walk to the beach. Plus, plenty of night life.

My Favorite Hotel in Malate
My 2nd stay here at Amelie and I am not disappounted. Their WiFi is excellent. I depend on it for my work. Fast and reliable. This hotel is more expensive which is my only complaint.

This is hotel is great but I regret booking through Expedia as they have charged more+++++ and even without breakfast to find upon checking in the hotel that their rate was very competitive including breakfast. I will not say I will not use Expedia in the future but I will see the best competitive price that even offered by the hotel directly. Expedia was really disappointing.

Great stay in a reasonably priced hotel
the check in was smooth. Bed was good but i felt there should be 4 pillows as standard. The pillows were not of good quality and would recommend changing them out for better pillows when its end of life. I was fortunate to be given a corner room facing away from the bellagio pub area.

Quite clean, modern etc, service is pretty nice and so on... but the noise from the street is unbearable. And I had a room on 10th floor, can’t imagine how the people on lower floors manage to sleep..
