"The staff were extremely kind and helpful, assisting us with calling restaurants to make advance reservations and arranging taxi bookings. The hotel rooms were very clean, and by Japanese standards, the room size was quite spacious. The location is also very convenient—quiet yet close to the action. Highly recommended!

"The rooms are always cozy and quiet, as well as the bathrooms are AMAZING here. I love the japanese style washroom as well as the beds are comfy. Only complaint is they are a little low to the ground, but the only person who had a problem with that was my parents. Other than that this property is so beautiful and quiet and low key, my favorite place to stay thank you all in Kyoto!!"

"Spacious room with good facilities but the mattress is a bit too soft and there’s no view from the room because there’s a piece of something outside the window.
Location is close to the JR station but there are no restaurants or cafes nearby."

"Had a good stay here. Staff was super friendly. Had one of the staff there recommend me a shop where i could buy some whiskey to take as a gift. When i come back to Kyoto, I'll try my best to book here again!"
"Good rooms, but far from train network. You will need to catch a bus to get to this hotel, which is unadvisable if you have too much luggage. There is a 7/11 store right next to the entrance. This was the best hotel in our Japan trip."
