"Hotel is old and rundown not at all a five star experience. You cannot control the AC, it’s a fixed temperature. We had engineers and housekeeping coming. They pretended it was fine but it never got below 23C. Staff seemed sterile and clinical in your dealing, but also seemed a little bit terrified at the same time. The one bright spot was the housekeeper who was cheery and very helpful."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Meander. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They even had an event to see the fireflies. Although the rain made it impossible to see them, PJ (the tour guide) still made sure we had a good time and took us to see a water show by the bridge. Speaking with other people gave me the same impression I had of the hotel/hostel. It is convenient, comfortable, clean, and one of the best stays I have had. I stayed in a single room with a private bathroom and it was very clean with the best pillows (most hotels have terrible pillows). It is close to the main MRT station and next door to a 7-11. I can't recommend it enough."
