"Nice, rustic cabins located in a beautiful, quiet location. The provided canoes and kayaks were a nice touch and we made good use of them. The hot tubs and new barrel sauna were great for those chilly evenings. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they provided games and additional coffee and toilet paper at the front office. The beds were comfortable. It was too bad there was a fire ban when we visited so we weren't able to make use of the wood-burning fireplaces. While the kitchen was pretty well-stocked, I wish they included some napkins or paper towels. Also, having the TV in the bedroom could be inconvenient if you are trying to watch TV or a movie with a group. Overall, a nice location for quiet getaway!"

"The breakfast was consistently the best food we’ve had on Salt Spring Island—stay for the breakfast alone! It’s a beautiful, private space amidst old growth forest. The secluded hot tub and patio to sit on were amazing, it was like being in a fairy tale. There’s also an outdoor shower, which was a great pairing with the hot tub. Sue was a top tier host. She waited up late for us to come in from the ferry, gave our dog treats every morning with breakfast, and was very accommodating for our dog’s needs. And it’s a gated yard so our dog could roam as he wanted! The location is within 8-10 minutes of the Ganges, with lots of beaches and hiking trails a short drive away. It’s hard for me to imagine a better place to stay on the island. The suite was spacious, lots of lighting, with the candles & fireplace making it extra romantic. FYI, there is no tv, which is great for an unplugged getaway. Overall, we’ve loved our stay here, very relaxing."

"The dining options on Mayne are very limited, most places closed early or not open at all. Restaurant was closed for Reno’s here but they had the nook which had some food."

"It's hard to explain how beautiful the grounds are at Wetherly Inn! The hosts Merideth, Pete and Sam were really sweet and kind during our entire stay. We spent 9 nights at the Inn during our honeymoon and it was the best part of the whole Salt Spring Island experience. They have a great game room, large pool, and many private spaces for seating. I can wholly recommend staying at the inn, and this is coming from someone that does not even like travellong. "
