"That’s an old motel, the room had a strong cold cigarette smell that was impregnated in the air and in all fabrics, especially the pillows. It’s obviously a place where people go to have parties or worst and do not care about respecting the place. The room had many mosquitos probably due to the previous customers leaving the windows open to smoke inside. The bathtub had pinkish mold and the bathroom smelt like sewage water. "well situated near the airport. the staff are friendly and helpful. there is a free drinks and snack in the lobby. the xpark and outlet mall is walkable and have lots of options for meals. nice relaxing time to relax before the flight."

"Amazing location, easy access to ximending and ximen station (300m). The only downfall is the lack of facilities in the building e.g. pool, sauna, limited seating for tea and coffee in lobby area. The hotel is very clean and staff is very hospitable and welcoming. Reception was at 6th floor, no concierge or bell boy to help with luggage. Stayed 2 weeks in this hotel and felt very comfortable. Some reviews said it was noisy but we didnt feel that at all. The hotel it self is quite new and the location and access was the reason we chose this hotel. A little bit more pricier than other 4 star hotels we've stayed at overall, we defintely liked our stay but I wouldnt say we LOVED it.

Self service laundry, luggage storage, tea and coffee station, location and the housecleaning.
Cons
limited facilities: no pool, sauna, small gym, no shampoo/conditioner, no toothbrushes. money exchange was challenging as the hotel only accepted certain currencies e.g. USD, EUR, YEN. Any other currencies you need to go to Bank of Taiwan or Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Shopping Mall. No staff assistance with luggage on check in, no concierge, breakfast was not fantastic for the price we paid, reception is on level 6 not on ground floor.

"I enjoyed my stay Cho Hotel. There are great facilities available such as kitchenette area on the 2nd floor. My room was well insulated from road traffic noise so sleeping wasn't an issue. Ximending is also a short walk over. "

"Location is great, within 10 minutes walk to Taipei Main station. You can go anywhere with the metro lines in the main station. Also easy access to the nearby local restaurants. The hotel has modern design with a luxury feeling. Although the room is a bit small, it has a large window making the room very bright. The design of the furniture and layout of the room is functional providing ample space for storage. I would stay at this hotel should I visit Taipei again. "
