"That’s an old motel, the room had a strong cold cigarette smell that was impregnated in the air and in all fabrics, especially the pillows. It’s obviously a place where people go to have parties or worst and do not care about respecting the place. "Great location as amongst all of the action in Ximen but just a street back away from the bustle. Just over 5+ minute walk to Ximen MRT EXIT 6.
Stayed in twin room which was clean and spacious.
Was nice to have the communal room/kitchen option upstairs L15 with microwave and water/tea/coffee.
Aircon in room was not overly strong even on lowest temp (I was in TPE with excessive heat time of year) and mini bar not super cold either and had no temperature setting (but these 2 things were bearable and kinda expected for this standard of hotel). Reception staff was a bit hit and miss with friendliness but overall had a great stay here. "
"The staff was professional and very helpful. As a foreigner visiting the country, I appreciated the employee's effort to support and accommodate. The facilities were clean and orderly. The hotel location was very convenient for transit and local shopping. There have been some reviews about crime in or around the hotel but I didnt experience any of that. I was able to walk around alone around midnight and didnt feel unsafe. Now, walking around at midnight may not have been a good idea but I didnt see or experience anything that made me feel uncomfortable. Lastly, my family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property and would stay there again. "
