"I would consider this a five-star hotel! The staff was friendly, accommodating and the surrounding area is clean and walkable. We shipped our luggage to the hotel and they were already in our room when we arrived. The rooms are very spacious (also full-sized bathtub) with snacks and drinks provided in the small fridge (also wine was provided for weary travelers). "The room was clean, and actually bigger than some we had stayed in in Tokyo or Kyoto. The laundry worked well and was less expensive than others that we had found. The washer and the dryer were separate units, the washer was free and the dryer was only 100 yen. The breakfast was one of the most extensive we had experienced in our travels."
