While we have stayed in Hanoi's exclusive hotels, costing much more money in the past, the Royal Palace has been much more satisfying. The hotel is on a quiet side street in the Old Quarter, but just a few minutes walk to the excitement of shopping and eating. The most noteworthy comment is the friendly and interested staff.
