"We had a really great few days at the hotel, staff were great and the amenities were all good! Room was good value with a great view over the ocean. Short distance from the airport was good."

Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali

"Stayed with 2 kids - ages 2 and 5. We did not do the all inclusive option. Kids facilities were good, although indoor play area was old and felt dirty and very dark and dingy and kids pool and waterpark werent as new as the photos made out but still did the job - the kids loved it. Lazy river was a standout for us. Breakfast is fabulous with a great range of everything. Staff are attentive and the rooms in the main hotel were very very clean and newly decorated. Hated that the family wing is a completely separate building/felt like a separate hotel. It feels like an old hotel that Grand Mirage have bought and tried to incorporate as part of their main one but it just doesn’t work! General maintenance of the amenities isn’t amazing and not like the photos made out- few loose tiles on main pool floor, dated tiling and decor in walkways. Also location isn’t walking distance to Nusa Dua (with young kids) so does feel a bit secluded up where it is. There are plenty of restaurants, laundry, spas around on the street but had to take taxi to Bali Collection etc. Overall, for us, it was good. I’m glad we didn’t do the inclusive option though as we personally wouldnt have liked to be at that hotel 24/7. I think for the price of this, it’s worth checking out some hotels closer towards Nusa Dua."

"The cleaning staff and garden maintenance kept the property spotless. The resort needs to control people putting towels on chairs near pool and then taking off for the day. The breakfast was average for a large resort but perhaps because it was like feeding time at the zoo with people pushing in to get their food. I suggest walking 5 minutes up the road to quite a few lovely restaurants and markets or go to Bali collection as the hotel food is way overpriced. The grande double room was amazing and can not find a fault in that"

"As we were in Bali for a special birthday. The staff had decorated our room and a birthday cake on arrival. Staff were so friendly and helpful from reception desk, floor, bar and cleaning staff. The resort and pools were clean and fresh. Couldn’t start the day better than with their breakfast, coffee and orange juice. We would recommend this resort and will be back."

"The paradisus, like the name indicates, satisfied all our expectation for a new 5-star hotel. With all the convenience provided by modern and well thought design of various facilities, it still manages to keep the traditional beauty that people appreciate very much in Bali. Stayed 3 nights here with two boys, only complaint is that the stay was too short. Will definitely come back. Staff: friendly and helpful Cleanness: superb Family friendly: kids Iove it here"

"Our girls’ trip at Sakala Resort was incredible. We stayed in a pool‑access room, which made the whole experience feel extra relaxing and luxurious. The resort is beautifully maintained and always clean, and every staff member we met was genuinely friendly and attentive. We loved having three pools to choose from, with swim up bars, a view of the beach and plenty of sun lounges. The food was consistently delicious, from breakfast to late‑night bites. Overall, the perfect mix of luxury and comfort, great service, and stunning scenery."
