"Had a short stay in Ayola hence did not try out the spa. The room I had was a twin bedded and condition of the room was fine, except that there's no hairdryer in the room. "New hotel so everything was clean. Great ambience. Very near to Batam Centre Ferry Terminal. Staff was friendly, helpful - amazing service. Hotel smells great. A good breakfast spread. I particularly love the Indomie counter. Pastries taste excellent. Will be back here again and hopefully experience the same or even better overall. Kudos to the whole team!"

The Restaurant staff are helpful, pleasant and quick with the service, especially Ms Moly who is always so charming with her lovely smile as well as 2 others male staff (unfortunately didn't get their names), they too should be well recommended for their wonderful service in the breakfast room. Breakfast is very basic and their replenishment is not automatically which you had to check with the staff and only then it'll be replenish. Overall, it's pleasant experience staying with Ayola and hopefully to see more improvement around the property. "

"Front office staffs were polite, helpful and friendly. Room was made available to us 1 hr before check in time. Room was clean and with standard amenities. Location just 5 mi s walk from Batam Center Ferry Terminal. Opposite hotel is a shopping mall that have a variety of food options, hypermarket, Starbucks, bakery etc."

"The room was dirty and neglected, chair on veranda broke when I sat in it, doors did not close properly so mosquito and large red ants came in at night, bathroom had electricity plug next to shower so not safe to use, kitchen did not have utensils to cook a meal. Check in was 3 not 2 as on confirmation. Receptionists were dismissive and unhelpful, breakfast was of poor quality and lacking in choice, fresh coffee had to be paid for at breakfast it was not included as told at check in. The hot tub was filthy and unusable, the large swimming pool had exposed wires in it and the smaller one had chairs floating in it and was full of sand and debris.The resort in general was dirty, tired and had rubbish everywhere. Room service food was constantly over an hour late and stone cold when arrived. We ended up leaving a day early and would have left the day after arrival if I could have booked our next hotel earlier!!! "
