"The traditional Japanese hotel is so spacious that it surprises us the minute we walked in. It has a full living area, a bedroom and a long patio that provides excellent view to the back yard. It has a private indoor hot spring tub and a private outdoor onsen. The back yard lead to hotel garden area which has all kinds of beautiful flowers and plan. Mountain is just next to the backyard. The ambience was excellent. A simple traditional Japanese breakfast was provided for free a request."
"It is a great resort hotel experience.
Great morning buffet, and great hotel and spa experience.
This little charge on the amenity is a little bit of an annoying experience. Overall, it is a great experience. "
"It was a unique old building. Could use some updating. Food was expensive but not worth the price, not much else available nearby. Had to pay for beds or tables at the pool. "
"As a frequent traveler, I’ve experienced countless hotels around the world — but Kiri No Kahori Sakura truly stands out as one of the most exceptional.

"This hotel is very relaxing and it has a lot to offer. I really enjoyed the facilities and scenery. I also liked the option to save a little bit of money by not needing a room cleaning during our short stay. The only thing I wish was possible is that the breakfast was a little bit later."

"A good place to stay and relax. Only down side is that there are some communication barriers since I don't speak Japanese and the staff doesn't really speak English, but they did try their best to communicate with you, things like prepared cards and using translation app on their cell phone."
"Right next to Numazu Station, so great location for getting to/from. Huge room by Japanese business hotel standards. V friendly staff and I was allowed to check-in slightly earlier upon arrival. Hotel rules mean that room is fully serviced after night three even if it does not require servicing. I was lucky to have a room which had a great view of Mt Fuji in the morning before the clouds appeared. Buffet breakfast catered for all tastes and is served between 6am-10am Mon-Fri, 7-10 Sat/Sun. "
