"I had booked a senior classroom for our overnight stay at the Lalit. Upon check in, I was told I’d been upgraded to the Lalit Suite. I didn’t question, why would you when it’s an ‘upgrade’. When I entered the room, it seemed nice enough but just very bare! There was no water in the room, no body lotion or any of the other amenities. The shower gel, shampoo conditioner were bog standard cash and carry products. The pillows are terrible! Whatever happened to firmer pillows? At around 8.30am the house keeping staff started ringing the bell and when I opened the door, she apologised profusely to say she didn’t realise there was anyone there because her notes said the room was ‘out of service’. So clearly, they had either oversold rooms and put me in a room that wasn’t fit / ready, or there was some miscommunication at their end. All in all, it was not the best experience, and I am not sure I will be staying here, certainly not at the price they charge! "

"Great location just out of the west end 15mins on the tube which is only 5 mins away at Tower Hill. Hotel was ideal, buffet breakfast very good, huge range to choose from, ate at different times and food was hot and fresh. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Second time I've stayed and would stay again. "

"Staff was great, always cheerful and helpful. Room was cute, needed vacuumed around bed, very dirty. Bathroom is nice. Great location for walking and catching underground tube and for uber to pick you up. Felt safe and was somewhat quiet even being above the bar. Food was very good! "

"Comfortable hotel in a good location. Beds in particular were very comfortable and the bathroom was bigger and better than expected. Staff very helpful, particularly since the room had not been 'made-up' when I arrived and the Manager had to step in to give it a deep clean and bedding change as housekeeping had failed to do so."
