Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka
Affordable and close to Dotonbori. The staff seemed a bit stressed but the views were spectacular.

The Royal Park Canvas - Osaka Kitahama
Clean and modern. No super accessible, but little walk to 2 metro stations. Showers are great, and room size is larger than average.
