"This place is HUGE. We arrived early and checked in super fast. Quickly we realized that this place is damn near abandoned. We were the ONLY guests and felt somewhat unsafe. The pool was not operational, the amnesties were unavailable and i’m assuming due to lack of guests. The reason for this was because people don’t visit the city, everyone goes towards the beach/pier. "Fantastic resort, one of the best we've ever stayed at. Room was beautiful and modern, pool was gorgeous, breakfast buffet was excellent. Bed was so comfortable, service was perfect. We hiked the dragon crest trail which starts just steps from the hotel, which was amazing. The only two negatives that I noticed - they had some stray ants around the exterior, and a few managed to make it into our room over our two night stay, and the restaurants were quite expensive, about 3x the cost of a comparable bar/restaurant off premises. Those were minor things though, and we'd definitely visit again. "
