My wife and I stayed at this cozy bed and breakfast for one night and absolutely loved how cute our room was. It also helped that we went at the peak of fall foliage and witnessed miles and miles of fall colors on our way to the inn. The hosts were welcoming and even though we stayed for a short time, it was a memorable stay.

Booked a one night stay on the way south from Tadoussac to Quebec City. We booked this based on the location, and reviews mentioning the hospitality, nice location, and breakfast included. Unfortunately soon following check in my husband was yelled at (not even told off, yelled at), because he tried to use the spa. For sure he didn’t read he needed to make a reservation - he owned up to not having read the guide, but it would have been fine to speak to him in a normal tone and explain the process. We were guests, not disobedient school kids. Getting yelled at is not something we are used to. My husband is a 38 year old man and knows he cannot speak back to an upset lady yelling, so he just left. He was very shaken when he returned, and rather than have dinner there decided to eat protein bars in our room with our son (nothing else was open, but this was preferable to the host’s company). The next morning we did have the breakfast as the higher fees for the night meant we had anticipated breakfast. It was a nice breakfast, and our interactions with the host were polite. We got the bill which suggested a 15% tip for the entire stay. So over 40 dollars tip was suggested. That was very strange, and we did leave a 10 dollar tip, but we felt very uncomfortable and left as soon as we could. Maybe it’s because my husband is Anglo (Australian), but we did speak French at all times. The area is gorgeous, close to water and trails. We will not come back there unfortunately.

Lovely little spot

Charming, intimate ski/tourism chalet, positioned in a tiny town on the beautiful St Lawrence river. Kind inn-keepers ready to help. It's a great place to stay if skiing Le Massif de Charlevoix (5 minutes away) or looking for a quiet getaway an hour from QC. Enjoy!

Stairs to rooms could have had a railing, everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Meals were wholesome. And if you want quiet and great walks or cycling it us a great place to stay. Very quiet village.

Our room was on the 3rd floor so had to walk up 3 flights of very steep stairs. Most of the walls were slanted ie banged our heads a few times! If you’re tall don’t stay in room 6. Food was great, staff very friendly.

Owner and staff were so wonderful! Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was excellent and so convenient as we skied all day and didn’t have to worry about where to go for dinner. The room was clean and had the amenities we needed(kettle, coffee pot, microwave and mini fridge. We booked the hot-tub one of the nights, and it was perfect after a long day of skiing. There is also a convenient store down the road, and an ice rink around the corner where we went skating! 10/10

Way too noisy despite the place seemingly in good condition. Maybe winter time exacerbated the issue with plow machines starting to work around 6pm... But we were hearing people in the inn until at least 9.30pm also. It was a comfortable and clean room otherwise. Side note: a bit disappointed by the restaurant service and quality for the price (hamburger aka small bread meat at 15$) and we were thirsty the whole diner (no available water unless the waiter/ress thought about us).
