"What an amazing retreat. The family villa was so great for my family of 4, the private pool was a real treat. The restaurant is superb, and the staff are very attentive. It’s a little further from the town center but the hotel offers a free shuttle out and it’s only a couple of bucks back in a taxi or tuktuk. I loved being in a tranquil haven after a busy day exploring temples."

The food (delivered to your private patio) was delicious and inexpensive. The bed was comfortable. Bonus is free transportation one way into downtown from 5-8pm. Unfortunately, no free airport shuttle as advertised (only from the airport but not to) "

Excellent English and full of information that was accessible to both teens and adults alike. My son and his friend loved swimming in the saltwater pool and service by the pool was great! The restraint had lots of options and while they didn't offer many vegetarian dishes for our son they were able to make a number of dishes vegetarian. The family villa with private plunge pool was spacious and quiet, the main pool was also excellent and we mostly had that to ourselves too. Overnight you could hear nothing except the frogs, insects and lizards. Very relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle."

The only marks against it was when we got to the hotel they tried putting us in a room without a balcony, even though we had already paid for one, and tried charging us extra (it was worked out after I showed them the receipt). Also, we booked a massage in the spa and the staff were 10 minutes late and we had to remind them we were waiting."
