Rooms were clean, property well maintained, staff friendly and helpful. Buffet was ok. The staff worked hard to keep the beach clean of seaweed, and to ensure guests were taken care of. The only downfall for us was the gym was only opened certain hours. We loved that they offered yoga on the beach!

We had an amazing time at Reef Coco Beach! Our room was very clean and the air-conditioning was incredible!! The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. There wasn’t one person we passed that didn’t have a smile in their face! Guillermo at the lobby bar was fantastic! That young man deserves a raise!! Marco at the sports bar was VERY accommodating and an excellent bartender! Boris was so fun and made every day exciting! Alan was a wonderful server and had an excellent personality. They all had a huge part in making our trip so good, they made us feel like family. The beach was beautiful and clean. The food was good. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this resort. We will be back!

I like almost everything about this place, the staff were unbelievable, friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and A/C was working perfectly. The beach and the pool was clean, the service by the beach and pool was excellent and the food and drinks were great. I would recommend to have a lounge bar and music at least Friday and Saturday night. I really enjoyed my time there 🙏❤️

The pictures on this site are very deceiving, especially at the beach. The chairs need to be redone. I understand they’re do renovations on the property, but that has nothing to do with the condition of the beach and the facilities. The food in the main dining hall for breakfast was excellent, dinner not so good. The best place to eat was the Japanese restaurant, good food and entertainment. Visited their sister hotel, Playacar Beach which was 1000% better. I would suggest that you look into that property first. I would not recommend this hotel.

This is a small property, but the staff is excellent, and the beach is beautiful, with the exception of the brown seaweed that covers much of the water in August. The biggest downside was the food. The dinner restaurants were great, but the poolside lunch options and buffets were subpar. The wait staff, however, was excellent. One thing to be aware of is that the Japanese restaurant is not included in the all-inclusive package. Apparently, there are different levels of all-inclusive packages, which we were unaware of when booking. Access to the Japanese restaurant required an upgrade, a $35-per-person, per-day additional charge, or attending a timeshare presentation. Overall, this is a great hotel, especially if you don’t mind going elsewhere for food. You’re also very close to 5th Avenue, which has plenty of excellent restaurants. Based on my experience, I would recommend skipping the all-inclusive package and eating out instead.

They need to work hard on improving customer service. The service was terrible. You go on vacation to relax and get away from daily life, and when you arrive at a hotel, you expect to be treated with at least a basic level of decency—which was the only thing I was looking for. What do I mean? The hotel itself was lovely—the facilities, the pools, everything was clean—but the customer service was terrible.
