"Overall this was an absolutely excellent stay. The staff was very kind. The property was good. The pool was stunning and very well maintained. The rooms could use some maintenance. The extra bed for my teen daughter was more like a couch and the mattress was very hard. The food was good. The view was stunning. This is a party resort. It had many families with many activities and is a great place to have fun! However, if you want to relax-probably not quite enough. This hotel was fun and wonderful but not super luxurious. More like a fun vacation than one for pampering. The hotel has an adult only pool and is very kid-friendly. Lots of families were there."

"Our family of 5 had an amazing stay at Velas Vallarta! The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Marcelino at Andreas for outstanding service, Edwin at the beachside restaurant, and Antonio for taking such great care of us by the pool. One of the biggest highlights was the incredible variety of gluten-free food. Every meal had plenty of delicious options, making it one of the easiest vacations we've had with dietary restrictions. This is truly an all-inclusive resort. The only thing we signed for our entire stay was room service—no surprise charges. The grounds are beautiful and full of wildlife. We loved seeing the peacocks, raccoons, and fish, and the gift shop even sells fish food, which was a fun activity for the kids. The beach was very clean, although the water is too rough for swimming. The main pool always had activities going on throughout the day, so there was never a shortage of entertainment. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend Velas Vallarta to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly resort with incredible service."

"The staff is amazing and very helpful. The pool area needs some maintenance. I think there need to be some more explanation of procedure prior to arrival so we can be better prepared. When we areived they requested names be assigned to each room, this could have been done ahead of time. They requested an ID for each person inclunding the children. They asked for curp numbers for Mexican citizens and passports for each adult, they copied these documents. It took 45 minutes for us to check into 3 rooms. I feel all this could have been done ahead of time. The food was good, the rooms very clean and the staff was very nice. The spa was definitely different then any spa I have ever been to. No a lot of privacy so just be aware. Overall we had a good stay."
