Here are the pros: You are within walking distance of EVERYTHING You have shops, food, souvenir shops, & local foods :They provode towels for the beach :You a near water ferry for just $4.00 ROUNDTRIP to the other island. The staff veey friendly. :The rooms were clean. : The water was hot. :Locals are friendly Cons: Streets ARE congested because IT is a cruise port. : Bugs bit me but the hotel provides spray :Some steep hills bring walking shoes : "

"The first time I stayed at a resort and they did a wellness visit. Room was clean and views were great. "

"We had a suite and it was a great room! Only complaint it that it was on floor 6 and the music from floor 7 club was thumping. We were very tired and fell asleep quick so it turned out to be ok, but if we weren't it would have kept us up. We also had dinner reservations at Mar y Rosa and cancelled because there was loud music. "

"We loved our stay at OSR. We were right in the center of Old San Juan, and the space was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The porch is gargantuan, offering beautiful views of both the ocean and the city. The beds were super comfy, and having a washer and dryer was a lovely added bonus. We never had hot—or even warm—water, but we didn’t mind, as it was actually refreshing on a hot day. We love this place and will definitely be back."
