"This hotel has lovely rooms with a very nice bathroom including soaker tub and separate shower. There is a gas fireplace. The linens and bed were good quality. You can hear the ocean and have a limited view of it. Breakfast was well stocked. There are interesting g prints of Julia Morgan’s sketches for the Hearst Castle throughout the building. "

"They were awesome great service all around!!! Jane and Ron and another gentleman!!! Free cookies once we arrived. Room was real nice and clean. Also a side note they went over and above helping us our Car key fob went dead no way to move it from across the street at Ocean view we went to the local stores no batteries. Took a chance and asked Jane if she knows any stores in Cambria that would have batteries so I can take a Uber to Cambria she said don't worry about it I have batteries wow so cool didn't even charge us !!! What a life saver👍 this hotel is my go too hotel going forward."

"First walked in, the smell of fresh cookie, amazing! The staff was great. The place was clean and the breakfast was awesome. The only downside on my part is that the bed was a little hard. But hey, some people like it hard. Oh yeah, and they gave us snickers for the road, what! KC"

"I had a nice time at the Fireside Inn. I have tried several inns by the beach, and I find this is one of the better ones. It was an enjoyable stay. Clean room, friendly staff. I've stayed twice. The first time, I had a patio with a partial view of the ocean. I liked this room. The second time, we stayed in a room with a terrace overlooking the parking lot, which I don't recommend."
