It is an attractive property, and the staff were very nice. The room was nice, but a bit worn. For example, the desk chair upholstery was torn where it bumps the desk. There was a pile of crumbs on the floor on one side of the bed, and rings of what appeared to be red wine on the bedside table. Also problematic was one of the two elevators were out of service, an inconvenience when two sports tournaments were in town and the hotel was at capacity..
What really got me was an email from the property two days before we were to check in, they told us there is an $8 per night parking charge. That wasn’t disclosed on the hotel site. We and people before us and behind us checking in complained without avail.
Overall, we would consider it again, hoping our stay didn’t coincide with large area events. The stand reacted quickly to our report of the room needing a touch-up.
