"Ive been to Cozumel on numerous occasions, this time i got married there. Hotel is basic, but spotless, staff are amazing food to die for, absolutely 10 outta 10 thanks to everyone x"

"Honest review from middle class Canadian: it’s definitely a 3 star resort and I’m sure years ago it was a beautiful resort. It’s very authentic Mexican. Pros: all the staff there were very helpful, kind and answered any of my questions. Drinks were good, three bars(swim up bar too), pools were nice, generally clean, staff were always cleaning but also hard to clean when some things are falling apart and people are messy. Beach was great, you could swim in clear water, no water shoes needed. So many cool fish to see. Free snorkeling gear. But also the long pier was nice to walk down and we saw 6 different kinds of fish. Cons- our room was very old dated, smelly. There may be nicer rooms. Stairs falling apart. And worst part was the birds all over the buffet nonstop, standing in the food, stealing food and pooping everywhere in buffet. And the food was bad, same food everyday for every meal, except omelettes at breakfast. It wasn’t good food either. Even pineapple unsafe as bird pooped on it. But nobody seemed to care…there was a stage for nightly entertainment but they stopped it years ago. Nothing goes on in the evening. Overall- it was the worst resort I’ve stayed at. However, I see all these wonderful reviews about it, so that confuses me. But if you get it super cheap, and are there for warm weather, beach and pool then you might be ok. Me personally, I won’t be back, as I don’t want to pay any amount of money to be stay there."

"For the price, this is a good place to stay. It is dated and food is good (but could be better). Issues were wifi (not available in rooms). Lots of people on wifi around pool so connecting was hit/miss. No issues though with wifi on beach! Pool was closed final days during our stay because of issues with filtration?"

"Not for family with teenager !!!!!!!!!!!!! To old for family pool and not old enough for adults only pool. Adult pool is also the one by the beach so unless you want to spend entire vacation at toddler pool away from the beach I wouldn’t recommend. "

"We have stayed here 3 times now. Arrived early and could not check in. At check in time lines were very long. Service very slow. When we did check in they gave us 2 double beds when our res clearly said King. Was then told we had to take what’s available to which i refused. Fridges dont work, patio lights are left on regardless till 930pm. You cannot control the light coming into your room and there is no blackout curtains. Birds in buffet food … "

"Excellent hotel. Fantastic food. Nice excursions. Relaxing environment with beautiful pool overlooking the sea. Great entertainment. Very safe and welcoming. Spa was very comforting. Staff were extremely helpful and supportive. "

"Very dated hotel, burned, stained sheets, also towels stained (had to exchange them). Got handed the TV and AC remote controls at checkin. Dirty corners everywhere. Didn't expect much, but cleanliness is basic. It was like going back 40 years in time. The cabanas area lovely. Location amazing. The "No Name" beach club on site, fantastic, but not part of the hotel. "

"Overall not a bad place to stay for the price you pay. The location is across the street from the sea, but NOT on the sea. In Cozumel in general, in order to get in the water you either have to pay at a beach club (20$ entry fee) or find some suspicious other area that doesn’t have an entry fee. Therefore, choosing a hotel with beach/sea access would be a better choice if that’s what you plan to do in Cozumel. The room was clean. The balcony was okay, the view is the doors to other hotel rooms and a slither of sea if you don’t pay for the nicer room. 2 out of the 4 nights I was there, housekeeping took my used towels but did not give me new ones. I had to chase down housekeeping to give me clean towels- they were not that clean. The breakfast is okay for being free. There are some fruit, eggs, toast, coffee. A pitcher of water in the lobby. The pool is pretty small- about 3 feet deep and 10-13 feet long. The lounge chairs are nice. Upon losing my key card, one of the rather unkind women at the front desk told me it would be a 13 dollar fee. Never in my life staying at a hotel was there a fee for a lost key. Especially when that information wasn’t given upon check in. After asking for a towel for the lounge pool chair she made me give her a collateral so I’d return the towel. I will say one of the male staff was always kind and smiling. Otherwise the staff was kinda rude. After paying the hotel price, taxis, and food, it’s so much more worth it to stay at an all inclusive. "

"We've stayed at the Coral Princess many times through the years. Great hotel. Clean, neat, wonderful pool and beach bar. Definitely recommend"
