"If you are a non-smoker, do yourself a favour and skip this place. The hotel uses central air conditioning and the rooms on the non-smoking floor (level 7) smell musky with a stale cigarette stench. We had 3 rooms in my group and all the rooms were the same even when we changed rooms. In addition, most of the service staff were non-Japanese, they could not communicate well and did not appear to be well trained and quite rude. "This is a great location right across from Odori Park, 6 blocks from JR Station/Sapporo Station, and 3 blocks from the Sapporo TV Tower. My room overlooked the park and was compact but very efficient and super clean. The bedding was excellent and water was supplied. And it was nice that there were microwaves and laundry facilities available in the building. I was here five days but wished I would have stayed longer. There’s a lot to do and explore in and near Sapporo. I really enjoyed being here. "
