Fort Knox Park Inn

"My wife and I decided to visit Acadia National Park to celebrate out 6th wedding anniversary - and boy are we glad we strayed a bit from the park and spent the night at the Fort Knox Inn! What a relaxing and pleasant experience. The view from our room was wonderful, the front desk staff pleasant and friendly and the cleanliness is unmatched. Everything from the bed to the bathroom to the side tables ("sparkling!" as my wife exclaimed) were impeccable and tidy. After a long day of walking through the National Park, we couldn't have asked for a better spot to hang our hat than the FKI. Thank you!"

"Clean room. Horrible hair dryer. Gave me a very quiet room away from street traffic. Friendly staff. Room had DEAD BUGS behind the entrance door. They came and vaccumed them up right away!"
Belfast Harbor Inn

"My family of three spend four nights at the Belfast Harbor Inn. Itโs definitely a family friendly hotel, lots of kids running around. We enjoyed our stay, the room and property were well maintained and the view of the harbor from our balcony was lovely. The breakfast was what you would expect for free, not a lot of variety but why complain when itโs complementary. We didnโt go in the outdoor pool but it looked to be very clean and offer a nice spot to take a dip. We did use the indoor pool and whirlpool, both were well maintained. The gym was what you could consider minimalist, the photos on the inns website donโt lie. But I would say better than nothing and plus there are many other options in the area like walking and biking trails to get in some exercise. The inn is just a half mile or so from the start of the Belfast harbor walk. One thing I would like to recommend is that the inn provide its guest with a place to safely store their bicycles. I did call ahead and asked if there was a place and was told no, which was good because I brought some extra locks, but it would be great if there was a shed or area where the bikes could be stored when not in use. Overall we like the harbor inn and would stay there again."

"I loved this hotel. It was clean, charming and so close to town. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets were butter soft. I actually looked them up on line to buy them, but sadly the company only sells to hotels. The staff was lovely and I really enjoyed sitting outside with tea or wine on the rocking chairs. I would stay again for sure."
