"The lake and mountain views were worth the price alone. The Ryokan itself is very beautiful and traditional, the tatami and sliding paper doors made it feel like we had gone back in time. The onsen is nice and note that it is for separate male and female, so if you want to share the experience with family or partner you may not be able to. "Excellent location just off a main street in the center of town near train and monorail stations. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Spacious lobby with friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in the older, main building in a small, but clean, quiet and comfortable room. Free use of bicycles for town or through the very large and beautiful park."
