"Mouldy rooms. Extra cost at every turn"

"I have never been to a hotel with better service. The staff are kind and highly organized. I was very impressed with everyone from the bellman to the front desk. They are accommodating and thoughtful. The room was also in perfect condition with a beautiful view of the atrium. Room service was wonderful and the location was perfect. The bed was firm and pillows were a bit too firm for me but thats personal preference. Loved this hotel and would stay again! "

However, the last time I was here, I was not told that there is no desk or table in the room (premium Queen, which is what I always book - I always had a table and chair before), so it was difficult for me to get any work done on my computer. Other than that, I would recommend it."

"Super location. Staff really friendly and helpful. The hotel is linked to the the Cumberland hotel next door, which is where breakfast is served. The full buffet breakfast was excellent and staff very attentive. Will definitely stay again. "

"Very large hotel. Nice enough rooms that are modern and clean. There was some confusion regarding our room not being ready when we arrived (6pm, so I would expect it to have been ready for a couple of hours) we were initially offered a different room type that we did not want (2 separate adjoining rooms instead of 2x double beds in one room). However, it was sorted out within 10 minutes. The room didn’t seem 100% ready when we got there. But it was good enough. The breakfast room was very busy and the staff inside (other than the man at the door who welcomed us) were not particularly polite or welcoming. Other than these minor gripes it was a good stay. The area felt comfortable enough to walk around. There are several places nearby to get food and drink and this is one of the very few hotels in London where it is possible for a family of four to all sleep the same room using 2 double beds, without anyone needing to use a flimsy sofa bed. "
