Hotel Monterey Group, Shiribeshi hotels

This was the best hotel experience in our Hokkaido trip! Service was top-notched and the staff was treated you with genuine care, give us home feelings and very patient even if we can’t speak Japanese. Food was freshly and delicious prepared in course for both dinner and breakfast. Private onsen is well-maintained. Definitely will stay again!

Perfect place if you’d like to be amongst nature or forestry. Loved the tranquil environment. Kids had a good time in the sauna and fireplace.

The hotel was located within walking distance of the JR Sapporo Station North Exit. You can pull over to unload luggage before returning your rental car but no parking. Press the intercom for the staff to open the card access rear exit. I particularly enjoyed the compact sit down bath area and the bath tub in the room. It is really nice for a hotel without a spa. First time staying in a container hotel. There is a parking lot in front of the room which is convenient.

The reception counter was not staffed throughout the day, hence need to check in within stipulated timing. Staff at the reception was helpful to set up the extra bed, which we had requested in our reservation, when the room attendant did not get it done prior to our check-in. Location is in a quiet residential area but walkable to town area where most of the shops and restaurants are located.

Room was clean. Walking distance to most tourists attractions. Breakfast was delicious.

Everything about the hotel is amazing. Check in timing is 3pm and we came early. They did the check in and helped us (family of 6 adults) to keep our luggages to the assigned rooms. Room cleaning was excellent. The best is Toyota rental south exit is located beside the hotel. Lawson and 7-11 are nearby. The only thing is the breakfast buffet. Stayed at South wing. Room was very comfortable but there was no Aircon in month of May so it became quite stuffy. Service was fantastic as they came quickly to help open a window. Do note that South Wing Rooms occupants have to wear casual clothes to go to the Public Bath as the pathway is via the ground floor

The facilities are great and new.

Corner room was spacious for Japan standard. Separate toilet and bath stands out. Amenities and separate facilities for hot baths for both men and ladies were good too. Excellent location but not directly connected to the massive underground areas
