"The room was very clean and spacious, and the best part of my stay at Hotel Emion was the staff. Keisuke and Yuki went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay and even reached out to me after we left about some belongings we accidentally left in our room. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and will be coming back to stay again!"

"I would pick the hotel again. Location was good. Our room was big (for Japan). They give you many goodies. Breakfast was delicious. Price was very good. It may be a new-ish hotel. The rooms certainly seem new. The hotel is a block away from the metro (3 stops from Kyoto station) on a quiet side street. There are many restaurants in the area and two 7-11s nearby (for snacks, etc). The hotel breakfast is across the street which could be inconvenient with bad weather. The food was excellent and they vary it a bit each day. We loved the French toast. WiFi worked very well. Our room had a w/d which worked very well. Cleaning / staff were excellent. They give you many goodies (tea, snacks) and there is a coffee machine in the lobby. They also have a sake machine open in the evenings. We booked a room which had a small living room area - superconvenient. There was no external / internal noise at wall. There's not much of a view since it's a small hotel on a side street. The price was excellent - likely bc it had just opened. All in all, it was a great value and everything was amazing."
