"Although older, the property is extremely well maintained and has an eleganace to it. The breakfast was nothing short of five star with a view! Staff was unfailingly helpful, especially Tatiana who afforded me a slightly delayed check out time so I could fit in the best massage ever with Celine! (sp?). So enjoyed my stay and would go back in a heartbeat. I also appreciated that property was a good value."

"Lawrence's Hotel is a charming historic hotel that was a delight to stay in. It is just a few minutes walk from the Sintra National Palace and from cute shops and good restaurants. It is also close to the bus stop for transport to the other Sintra castles. The hotel itself is lovely - our room had a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and towns and was very nicely decorated. There are cozy sitting rooms in the hotel for relaxation or conversation.
