"The first room was not that great my husband was getting bits on his legs in was sleeping in the sheets where everyone else was sleeping on top of the sheets with a blanket and we had no bits on our legs. We asked to be moved to another room what’s the hotel did allow us to move after three days and it cost us another $600 Canadian. It wasn’t an upgraded room which we appreciated and after that my husband didn’t have any more bites or getting any new bites on his legs. The staff was very friendly all the time. Outdoor pools were pretty good. The bars were good very staff. Breakfast was good. Lots of different options. Good entertainment during the day and throughout the night, the kids had fun."

"A week of fun! We were lucky enough to wake up every morning sound of waves from our oceanfront room. Staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating while traveling with our 1 year old. Our room was a bit dated, and could have been cleaner but was fine for us. There was a musty smell, but I feel like this is hard to avoid in such a humid climate. We loved the food and variety of options the resort offered from authentic Mexican dishes to simply meals fit for our picky toddler. I enjoyed spending each morning with a yoga class provided by the wonderful fitness staff and a delicious coffee from the cafe. If you are looking for a smaller, family friendly resort, I recommend!"

"We didn't have access to the hot tub. If there was one on the side we were staying at we definitely would have used it. They staff was friendly and very helpful. Seems like the resort was a little under staffed. Rooms we clean and comfortable "

"Everything super clean. Kids club should make an effort to keep the kids busy and parents free, there are several rules and they call you whenever something is off with the kids, we couldn't enjoy a (well paid) spa moment because we had our phone buzzing. In general the staff is kind, but they approach their rules without context making things more complicated/frustrating than they supposed to be. The app is a disaster."

"Villas de Rosa is a hidden gem. The location is right on a beautiful quiet beach with great snorkeling right in front. The rooms are very spacious with everything you need. The beach bar has great food and amazing staff that make you feel comfortable. We will be back regularly! "
