"This place has the makings of a great hotel, but the bar below, the unhelpful owner, and the uncleanliness of the place ruins it. The bar was open until 4am, pumping music loud into the night, the owner was unaccommodating, theres no staff on the location after 4pm, and the room has many issues while lacking many of the basic amenities. The staff tries to be helpful, I really think its an ownership issue. The location however, is 10/10. I would recommend to look elsewhere and I would never stay here again. In fact, I had to move locations after the first night because of the aforementioned issues. Thanks to Expedia for the excellent service in getting me out of this place and to a much nicer hotel."

"The overall stay was fine, but considering the $700 a night, could have been a little better The good: 1. The room a good size and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable allowing us one of the most restful resort stays, significantly better than others. 2. The shower included a separate shower wand, very appreciated and rare to find. 3 The pools and surrounding outdoor areas were clean and well equipped and and outdoor staff was attentive and pleasant. 4. The AC in the room worked great. 5. Great location very walkable to numerous restaurants, shops, beach, etc. 6. Very nostalgic decorating reminiscent of 50-60s Hollywood, unique. The not so good: 1. The heater in our room didn't work at all. One night came in and 65 degrees wanted it a little warmer, switched it to heat, but the vents continued to blow cold air. So had to turn off AC and extra blanket. 2 the bathroom a little cramped and worn. but expected for an older hotel. However, the lack of an exhaust fan unacceptable. 3. Water pressure was very poor especially when using that lovely shower wand. 4. Blow dryer stopped working the first day. Told the front desk late that morning around 11, along with a towel requests since no house keeping yet. Came back from pool later that day and still no blow dryer, towels or house keeping. Had to call again, and about an hour after that finally recieved both. Summary: would consider staying again, but at a better price point."

"Overall a very good experience and hotel. Its affordable and close to the beach, the breakfast is ok not amazing but there are so many places around that you could find good food. The property is clean and the staff’s are helpful. The rooms are tiny but again you can’t be expecting so much from a hotel that is in south beach, affordable and clean."

"Clean and paint your rooms. The view is excellent. Pool party was nice. Lobby is remodeled. The rooms have declined severely. I would pay $150 more per night for remodeled rooms. Its a shame because this hotel was a go to for us 7 years ago. "
