I would return again.. very good, almost excellent. But no deal breakers. Nit picking - not perfect coz:
- not squeeky clean enough for me.. dish washer had remnants of food bits which I cleaned before using
- cutlery tray was under the sink above the trash, which made me feel I couldn't keep cleaned ones in there
- room faced an office, 15m apart or so only.. needed to keep blackout curtains closed all the time for privacy
- lights switches at bedside did not work

Great hotel in a great location. Super easy access to Blackfriars (Thames link) and Southwark stations. Room was very comfortable and well appointed. Great aesthetic! I found the mattress to be very soft, so take note if you like a firm bed!

All three staff that I interacted with were really friendly and helpful. Room was large, clean, comfortable and nicely arranged. I had a kettle, coffee, tea, milk and a private shower room. Next to the common and an easy walk (or 315 bus) from Balham High Street, the tube and trains. Great for a walk on the common and for cafes and shops. Bring your own water and breakfast as required. All good, would stay again.
